Catherine A. Hilchey
I am interested in cognitive vulnerability factors for the development and maintenance of anxiety disorders. Specifically, my research area focuses on the relationship between anxiety sensitivity, a cognitive vulnerability factor in anxiety disorders, and cognitive processes involved in the pathogenesis of panic.
My clinical training falls under the generalist model and has provided me with diverse assessment and intervention experiences in both child/adolescent and adult populations. My primary clinical interest is within adult mental health, specifically the provision of CBT for individuals with anxiety and mood disorders. I am also interested in both individual and group therapy modalities.
